PlayStation Just Loves Roasting Us
PlayStation trophies aren’t just checklists. No, no, at the end of the day, PS games don’t really care what you do—they’re just here to roast us, call us out for questionable behavior, or “reward” us for random finds. That said, that’s exactly what makes them so special, and we’re here to break down some of the funniest so-called trophies you’ll unlock in your endeavours.
1. The Part Where He Kills You
In Portal 2, “The Part Where He Kills You” just blurts out the punch line before the scene even settles in. (That doesn’t help.) You earn it once you reach that named section, so there’s no special trick involved beyond progressing normally. But it’s such a blunt phrase that it just feels like the game patted itself on the back.
2. I Swear! I Did It By Mistake!
Sure you did, weirdo. Lollipop Chainsaw goes for immediate chaos with “I Swear! I Did It By Mistake!” and if you know, you know. If you don’t, well, we’re not about to encourage that kind of behavior.
3. Get Off My Cloud
From inFAMOUS, “Get Off My Cloud” has a grouchy little attitude that makes it stand out from more standard labels. You earn it by sending enemies to tall spots until the requirement’s met. We won’t lie…there’s something oddly satisfying about a trophy that sounds annoyed while you do something that aggressive.
4. Lazy Lombax
“Lazy Lombax” comes from Ratchet & Clank, and it has the exact kind of mildly insulting tone that makes a trophy memorable. You earn it on Kalebo by riding all four conveyor-belt catwalks without moving. So, basically, you just stand there and let the stage do the work for you.
5. Super Go Outside
“Super Go Outside” sounds almost helpful until you realize it’s from Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe. That game has never been shy about hiding hilarious details throughout, and this is no different; the trophy unlocks if you don’t play the game for ten years. Even by trophy name standards, that’s an impressively long bit.

6. You Can't Jump
Speaking of The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe, few trophies are as cheeky as “You Can’t Jump,” which turns your limitation into a badge. You earn it by trying to jump until the trophy finally triggers, usually by button-mashing.
7. You Asked For It
Well, it’s right there in the title, so you can’t say The Evil Within didn’t warn you. You unlock it by completing the game on AKUMU Mode, where a single hit ends you. It’s sharp, a little mocking, and exactly the sort of trophy you’d expect.
8. Click on Door 430 Five Times
There’s a lovely lack of elegance to “Click on Door 430 Five Times”; it sounds less like an achievement and more like a bossy errand. To earn it in The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe, click Door 430 and then follow the Narrator’s increasingly petty instructions.
9. NERD!
It’s not easy to live with Goat Simulator mocking you, but here we are. It only happens once you find all collectibles, specially reserved for players who’ve been especially thorough. Try to move on after that…
10. I Can See My House From Here!
We all know you can scale impossible heights in the Assassin’s Creed series, but Origins has a special one cooked up for reaching the “Top of the World” in the Black Desert territory. It seems tame compared to others, but the line just has an easygoing silliness we can get behind.

11. I Wanna Be A Baahlionaire
Okay, well…we hope you know where this is going. “I Wanna Be A Baahlionaire” is, of course, from Goat Simulator, doing exactly what you’d expect. The trophy is awarded for gathering $1,000,000, so the insane pun is attached to a very concrete grind.
12. Hello Nurse
In Life is Strange: Before the Storm, “Hello Nurse” is brief, playful, and just a little theatrical without overdoing it. You earn it by completing optional graffiti number seven in Episode 3 at the hospital. Hey, we’ll take this over Silent Hill nurses.
13. The first one's free!
If anyone’s going to jab you, it’s Deadpool. A stickler for fourth-wall breaks, you earn this one by getting off the couch at the beginning. Honestly, considering how hard it is to get trophies, we appreciate an immediate pat on the head.
14. Only when he stops breathing
If, on the other hand, you want to work for your Deadpool trophies, “Only when he stops breathing” unlocks by setting the Dialog Volume slider to zero. It’s a good reminder that sometimes the funniest trophies come from a little poking around.
15. Dang Girl You Ace At This Game
Borderlands leans into exaggerated enthusiasm, and this trophy is no exception. In Borderlands 2, you earn it by completing the sixth and final round of Murderlin’s Temple after taking the related side quest in Flamerock Refuge. Hey, at least we got something out of it.

16. Ménage à Trois
No, not like that—and especially not when it comes from COD. You earn it in Modern Warfare 3 by destroying three tanks with a single 105mm shot in the mission “Iron Lady.” We wish we didn’t chuckle at the immature name, but we’ll admit it got it.

17. Unlucky
Don’t let its name fool you. In Untitled Goose Game, “Unlucky” is exactly the sort of trophy name you’d expect once you figure out why you “earned” it. You only get it by opening an umbrella inside the TV shop. Yeah, that’s it.
18. In Space, No One Can Hear You Bleed
Who here remembers Surgeon Simulator? We sure do, and not a day goes by that we don’t think about its equally insane trophies, including one you earn by performing a heart transplant in space. It’s a grim reminder, but that’s probably why we liked it so much.
19. No Way, This Is My Jam.
We’d expect no less from the goofy, fun-loving franchise we fell in love with! You can nab this one in The LEGO Movie Videogame by scoring 21 awesome dance moves in the Kragelizer dance mini game. It ain’t much, but it’s honest work.
20. That's a Spicy Meat-a-ball
Wow, that’s not something you normally see from Resident Evil. But in Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, if you attach a Remote Bomb to an enemy and detonate it, you’ll earn your hilarious little nod.
