If we’ve learned anything from those coming-of-age movies, we know that geeks beat the jocks at life after high school. We’re all guilty of having dorky interests and hobbies. Whether you’re a Twitch celebrity or a math wiz, it’s cool to be a nerd. So grab yourself a butter beer and an Ewok cookie, and read on to see if you can relate to any of these nerdy things:
1. You Own Star Wars Paraphernalia
If you’re one of those people who shows up to a party with a lightsaber, congratulations!–– you win a gold medal for being the biggest nerd and we applaud you. You earn silver if you sip out of a Yoda mug or have a Darth Vader mask on display.

2. You’re A Figurine Collector
Whether it’s Marvel action figures or Game Of Thrones bobbleheads, if you collect them, you’re a nerd. You’re extra nerdy if you have them on display in a glass case or on a shelf above your gaming desk.
3. You Gotta Catch ‘Em All
You know where to find ‘em. You’ve been “helping” your kid grow their Pokemon card collection but we know it’s just as fun for you. You probably have the Pokemon Go app on your phone too. Don’t worry, we won’t laugh our Ash off–– embrace the inner kid in you!
4. You Wear Graphic T-Shirts
If your wardrobe is mostly t-shirts with graphics of TV show characters or video game references, you dress like a geek. These days it’s hip to wear vintage tees with prints of cult-classics or old cartoons. You may even be considered an accidental hipster.
5. You Make TV References
D’oh!–– You can’t get through a conversation without making at least one reference to Star Trek or quoting Michael Scott from The Office. You’ve mastered saying “How you doin?” as your favorite greeting and you have to say “Winter is coming” every time the snow falls.
6. You Socialize On Twitch
Some of the best conversations you’ve had weren’t at a dinner party and you’ve never met your online friends in real life. The largest part of your social life takes place gaming with fellow Twitch buddies, chatting through your headphones, or watching each other on screen.
7. You Have A Themed Bedspread
You can’t curl up in your fantasy-themed bedsheets and say you’re not a nerd. If you sleep on GOT pillows or snuggle under an Outlander comforter, you’re probably dreaming of Legolas too.
8. You Accessorize With Characters
You’ve got Disney charms on your bracelet or you dangle Anime from your earlobes. You might decorate your updo with a cartoon hair scrunchie or you get your edgy style inspiration from Wednesday Adams.
9. Your Bookshelf Is All Fantasy
If your bookshelf was in a bookstore it would be in the sci-fi or fantasy section. From The Foundation to The Hunger Games, you’ve got every series. Sometimes you chant spells under your breath or can’t remember if that was a dream or happened in real life.
10. You Have Character Tattoos
If you permanently inked your skin with your favorite cartoons, you’re a nerd for life. Back in the day, it would’ve seemed out of character for a geek to have any tattoos but the times have changed.
11. You Know How To Play Quidditch
You know the rulebook by heart and you’ve mastered the skillset of a Seeker. You joined a quidditch league where you play on a field with broomsticks between your legs and it’s more competitive than football back in high school.
12. You Have A Periodic Table Poster
You’re a classic nerd if you call the periodic table home decor. We assume a poster isn’t the only thing you own listing all the elements. You probably ask your restaurant server for a glass of H2O.
13. You Have Pi Plates For Your Pie
You’re a comedic mathematician who tickles our funny bone. When you take a pun this far, you know you’re a geek but we’re all laughing with you, not at you. We’d eat dessert every day as an excuse to use these dishes.

14. You Have A Death Star Waffle Maker
If you have a Death Star waffle maker, chances are you have Star Wars cookie cutters too. You’re a culinary geek with a taste for breakfasts that are out of this world.
15. Your Backpack Is A Fictional Character
After knowing that your favorite character exists as a backpack, why would you pack your things inside anything else? It looks like you’re giving the character a piggy-back ride and you wouldn’t have it any other way.
16. You Have A Comic Book Collection
It’s a timeless assumption that a comic book collection screams old-school nerd. Your favorite way to relax is by flipping through your stack of comics and chuckling to yourself as you read them.
17. You Fact Check Everyone
Do you have to Google everything your friends say before you can believe them? That’s what a nerd would do! You have to get the facts straight from a reliable source–– you’re not falling for what Brian said about meteorites without it being backed up by science first.
18. You Do Math For Fun
Only nerds do math equations in their spare time. You’re one of those people who brings a sudoku book on a train ride or gets a thrill helping their kid do their math homework.
19. You’ve Done A Howgwarts House Quiz
Deep down, you knew you belonged with the Hufflepuffs. Everyone wants to be in Gryffindor and you’re too nice to be with the Slytherins. Some of your answers made you think there was a chance Ravenclaw would be the chosen one.
20. You Wore Socks And Sandals Before It Was Trendy
When you think of the ultimate geek outfit, socks and sandals are an element most of us picture. Today, this geeky attire has been taken over by trendsetters across the globe, sporting this look as stylish instead of the other way around. Who knew you were a fashion nerd?
