Things Might Not Work Out
Superheroes don’t exactly come with simple schedules, and while plenty of us have spent our nights wondering what other powers Superman has, that doesn’t mean every hunk in a cape would make a good partner. Ladies with lassos aren’t necessarily off the hook, either! Of course, that’s not to say that every option would be a disaster—but we’re here to sniff out which ones are worth sticking beside, and which ones would get bested by divorce papers.
1. Superman
Okay, let’s be honest. Superman would be a great partner! Clark Kent is just as important to him as the cape, which means you’ll get everything you want in a relationship. He has the patience to listen after a long day, and he’s the kind of person who’d quietly fix your flat tire before you even complain about it. Even with all that power, his best quality is that he chooses kindness first (so long as he isn’t being manipulated).
2. Spider-Man
One of the best things about Peter Parker is that through it all, he holds onto his personality. And it’s a good one, too. He’s thoughtful in a very human way, especially when he’s trying to balance work, family, and saving New York. You’d have to tolerate a little chaos, but you’d also get someone who genuinely cares about doing right by the people he loves.
3. Wonder Woman
An attractive woman with a rope? That’s already enough for most guys. But get your minds out of the gutter! Diana also brings confidence without making everything about herself, which is harder to find than it sounds. A relationship with her would feel nothing short of secure because she respects loyalty, compassion, and personal strength.
4. Nightwing
Dick Grayson has the charm of someone who knows he’s impressive, and that’s always enough to make women swoon. However, he’s also spent years learning how to work with others instead of controlling every room. He’s protective without being cold, and his friendships show that he can handle teamwork, humor, and emotional pressure. He knows how to make people feel seen, and that’s all we can ask for.
5. Storm
A powerful, intelligent woman who carries herself with calm authority? That sounds good to us. Ororo has led the X-Men, ruled Wakanda, and still managed to remain deeply compassionate toward anyone scared or misunderstood. She honestly seems like the kind of person who’d give brilliant advice and never let a petty argument ruin the whole day: two traits of a great partner.
6. Captain America
Steve Rogers, Mr. Rogers—close enough! This adorable grandpa would remember anniversaries, offer his jacket, and actually mean it when he says he’s on your side. Alright, sure, his stubbornness could be a challenge, but his loyalty would never feel half-hearted.
7. Black Panther
T’Challa would not only bring intelligence to the relationship, but he’d also carry a deep sense of responsibility, too. He has the confidence of a king, but he’s also shown that he can listen to people who challenge him, and if you’re dating him, you’d at least you’d know he takes commitment seriously.

8. Rogue
Okay, okay, okay—maybe Rogue wouldn’t be able to touch you in the traditional sense, but that’s hardly all it takes to make a relationship work. More importantly, she understands patience, boundaries, and emotional honesty better than most heroes. You’d get someone warm, brave, and surprisingly romantic once she lets her guard down. (The Southern accent doesn’t hurt, either.)
9. The Flash
Barry Allen would bring all kinds of amazing traits to a relationship: warmth, humor, and a lot of nervous energy. He’s not perfect, but who is? You’d also never have to worry about him forgetting snacks for movie night, especially since he could grab them from across town in seconds.
10. She-Hulk
What? Are you scared of a woman with a little muscle? We’re not! Jennifer Walters knows how to be serious without losing her sense of fun. She’s not only a skilled lawyer but also someone who understands what it means to have your personal life judged by the public. A relationship with her means dating someone who won’t let you shrink yourself to make others comfortable.

Remember what we said about some heroes not being worth the trouble? Well, it’s high time we explored a few best left to a situationship.
1. Batman
Look, Batman might be brilliant and rich, but that’s honestly not enough. Bruce is also way too emotionally unavailable. He has a long history of keeping secrets from nearly everyone close to him, including his closest allies, and you’d eventually get tired of competing with Gotham—or whatever unresolved trauma he refuses to deal with that week.
2. Iron Man
Tony Stark is another guy who seems to have it all: money, looks, and charm. What could go wrong, right? Well, that stuff makes the relationship glamorous for about five minutes. After that, the chaos gets exhausting. Even when his heart is in the right place, his ego usually arrives first.
3. Wolverine
Okay, we’re not saying that we’d turn down Hugh Jackman, but Wolverine has way too much baggage under all that scruff. Logan’s past is packed with violence, memory gaps, old enemies, and romantic grief that never stays buried for long. It’s fine to admire his protective side, but we still don’t want every date turning into a bar fight.
4. Doctor Strange
Doctor Strange would be fascinating to talk to, but living with him requires a strong tolerance for emergencies. It doesn’t help that he’s grown from arrogant surgeon to Sorcerer Supreme, yet still has a habit of acting like he’s the only person qualified to make decisions. It’s also hard to build a marriage when your partner vanishes into another dimension.

5. The Hulk
A stable home life with Bruce Banner? Good luck to you. His anger issues aren’t just a communication problem, either; they’ll turn into demolished buildings, military chases, and terrified neighbors. He’s more of a friend you care about deeply.
6. Green Lantern
Hal Jordan has the kind of confidence that can fill a room, and on any other day, that might work for us. Unfortunately, he’s also known for impulsive choices and a job that always takes him across space without warning. Being married to him would likely mean dealing with intergalactic crises after intergalactic crises.
7. Deadpool
Deadpool might be funny in short bursts, but do we want to be married to the guy whose whole personality is crude jokes? No, no we don’t. Wade also breaks rules, irritates nearly everyone around him, and treats danger like a fun weekend activity. After enough explosions and surprise enemies, we wouldn’t last a week.
8. Daredevil
Matt Murdock has a strong moral compass. He has an even stronger physique. But he also has a remarkable talent for making his loved ones worry. Not only that, but his double life puts people in danger, and there’s a reason his relationships always suffer. You can respect his dedication without wanting all the sirens and guilt.
9. Scarlet Witch
Grief and power are a dangerous combination, and you’ll learn that firsthand with Wanda. Oh, sure, you could try to be that shoulder to cry on, but there’s no way that marriage can survive when one person’s pain starts changing everyone else’s life.
10. Green Arrow
Oliver Queen has a good heart, but he’s not always great at keeping his personal life clean. Between reckless choices, family drama, and romantic complications, that cute smile isn’t enough to stick around. You can admire his passion for justice and still decide that the emotional work isn’t worth it.
