However, women certainly find some fandoms more interesting and attractive than others. What that means is that if you have these fandom interests in common, it’ll be much easier to connect with the opposite gender.
1. Marvel

Although Naruto is immensely popular, some female fans might not be as drawn to characters who exhibit perpetual recklessness. Moreover, characters who rely heavily on brute power or aggression, and there are far more male-oriented characters than those for women to latch onto.
2. Game of Thrones
While the high fantasy allure of Game of Thrones makes it quite an interesting watch, it’s not a fandom women particularly love. The show’s great and all, but the fans can be a bit intense and almost a little condescending with their knowledge and theories. Plus, it can be a hard watch for some.
3. Star Trek
Star Trek is an iconic sci-fi franchise full of everything from space exploration to futuristic technology and moral dilemmas. While fans are deeply invested in the lore and debate everything from technical details to starship design, there are some downsides. Women typically don’t enjoy the competitive trivia or how dismissive the fandom can get of others’ opinions.

Warhammer is a tabletop wargame and a fictional universe of grimdark fantasy lore, collectible miniatures, and tactical combat. Hobbyists may enjoy painting models, learning rules, and arguing about lore details. For context, Genshin Impact is a free open-world action RPG gacha game that features elemental combat and character progression with a large focus on lore and narrative. The player base tends to engage in character optimization, completionism, in-game event activities, and speculating about the story.
9. Dark Souls
Dark Souls is an action RPG series known for its punishing difficulty, expansive world-building, intense combat, and rich lore. Dark Souls players frequently commiserate with one another on strategies, boss fights, and obscure narrative details. Women may not like Dark Souls men if they are hyper-competitive or gatekeep the game due to difficulty.

One Piece is a popular long-running manga and anime series about pirates searching for adventure, treasure, and friendship in a big world. Fans can be quite invested in the lore, character histories, and mysteries of the plot. Ironically, the creator once stated that the manga series targets male audiences and that he doesn’t care for romance.
