In the expansive Transformers universe, there are countless powerful warriors, but a few stand out from the crowd as the most powerful of them all. These legendary robots are renowned for their might, and each possesses unique strengths and abilities. With that in mind, here are 20 of the best warriors each side boasts. 1. Megatron
Megatron is the very essence of power and terror incarnate. An unrelenting warlord who has fought countless vicious wars against the Autobots throughout the galaxies, Megatron rose through the ranks of society, from miner to gladiator and beyond, by brutally tearing down anything and anyone who would not submit to him or his ambitions. By any means necessary, he has united all of the Decepticons under his tyrannical banner.
2. Shockwave
Shockwave is a psychopathic Decepticon scientist. Loyal only to himself, he can be just as dangerous as the Decepticon warlords due to his willingness to use cosmic-level experiments to exert his will over worlds and energy sources. A completely emotionless being, he is very difficult to outsmart or overpower.

3. Predaking
Predaking is an uncommon Combiner, largely because he does not suffer from the mental drawbacks that many others do. An aggressive and predatory hunter, he is the amalgamation of the five Predacons, and their united love of the hunt is his only focus. Possessing the strength of all of them combined, Predaking is also one of the few Decepticons who can compete with the Dinobots.

4. Soundwave
Soundwave is a devoted and deadly Decepticon who is one of Megatron's most trusted spies and enforcers. Able to decipher electrical brain impulses, Soundwave is a surveillance and espionage expert. He commands a legion of disposable minions that allow him to overwhelm most enemies.
5. Trypticon
Trypticon is a gigantic Decepticon whose size and strength make him one of the most terrifying Cybertronians ever known. He can transform into a massive T-Rex, an immensely powerful and heavily armed battle station, and even a vast city. A relentless force of destruction on the personal, squad, and city scales, he is nearly unstoppable in terms of firepower, and strong enough to crush even Combiners.

Thunderwing was a Decepticon who, through illicit science and violent experimentation, remade himself into a nearly indestructible killing machine. A juggernaut of raw power, his unstable mind and terrifying strength would eventually be his undoing, leading to him being devoured by Cybertron itself.

Galvatron is one of the most powerful Decepticons, either the product of Megatron's rebirth at the hands of Unicron or an ancient warrior who even predates the earliest history of Cybertron. He is an immensely strong warrior of near limitless power, and he never rests in his battle against the Autobots. But he is also an unpredictable foe with a fickle mind and strange bursts of madness that can make him equally dangerous to his allies as he is to his enemies.

Overlord is a vicious and merciless Decepticon with an insatiable hunger for battle. A merciless warrior, few battle-hardened veterans of war can stand against his might. As a Phase Sixer, Overlord has the ability to transform into many different alt-modes, and he can release a tremendous amount of power, rending all opposition.

1. Optimus Prime
Optimus Prime is the legendary leader of the Autobots. His strength, skill, and experience in battle make him a fearsome force on the battlefield. Armed with his rifle, energo-axe, and transforming trailer, Optimus is always ready for whatever the Decepticons throw at him. But his most powerful weapon of all is his character, as his courage, wisdom, and mercy inspire loyalty in all.
2. Arcee
Arcee is a skilled marksman and an expert shot, able to deal precise damage to enemies at range and then quickly evade before they can respond. She is also extremely agile and quick in hand-to-hand combat. In addition, her technical and tactical acumen are often enough to offset her diminutive stature, and she is able to deal with her assigned duties on a purely intellectual level.
3. Bumblebee
Loyal to Optimus Prime and the Autobot cause, Bumblebee is a courageous and dependable Autobot. While he often is of smaller stature and weaker in terms of raw physical power than his comrades in many continuities, he is brave and resourceful in battle. He has served in a leadership capacity on many occasions, sometimes acting as the brains in the group.

Ratchet is the primary medic of the Autobots. Adept at both repair and medical care, Ratchet is essential to the Autobots' ability to fight on the battlefield. He is also a competent warrior, using his wits and skill to defend his friends.
5. Sideswipe
A fleet and fearless Autobot warrior, Sideswipe is an agile and expert combatant, able to run circles around opponents and take them out with deadly blades and lightning reflexes. Unmatched in speed and daring, he can be reckless, but also driven and deadly, as much feared by Decepticons as he is respected by allies.

Jetfire is a very powerful flying Autobot. He is strong, smart, and a brilliant scientist. Jetfire was originally on the fence between the Autobots and the Decepticons, but he quickly became a loyal and valuable member of Optimus Prime's Autobot team.

Ironhide is one of Optimus Prime's most elite soldiers, with no other Autobot able to match his combination of brute strength and bloodthirsty fighting style. Not as much of a tactician as most Autobots, he doesn't mind diving right into the thick of things and getting his hands dirty.
9. Prowl
Prowl is the tactician of the Autobots. A genius strategist, he is capable in combat as well, but since he started with little knowledge of battle, he is willing to take risks to bring the war to an end. He is also not above using unorthodox strategies to win a battle.
10. Jazz
Jazz is a talented and highly skilled Autobot, renowned for his marksmanship and expertise in Cybertronian martial arts. He is swift on his feet in vehicle mode and is agile in all forms of combat. Jazz is a well-rounded fighter who excels in using his versatility and acrobatics to outmaneuver his foes.
