Video games are full of secrets, hidden areas, strange characters, and unexplained details that can keep players investigating for years. Sometimes developers deliberately leave questions unanswered, while other mysteries come from obscure glitches, unfinished content, or clues that never received a clear explanation. Even after countless theories and hours of searching, some of these mysteries remain unresolved, giving curious players plenty to argue about.
1. The Real Meaning of Silent Hill 2's Ending
There are multiple endings to Silent Hill 2, and they all can leave you a bit confused. As the game can take many different meanings, it can be hard to say how much of the game's events are actually happening and how much is to do with James' mental state. MissingNo. was a bug found in Pokémon Red and Blue that people used to run into often. There were many glitches that came with catching MissingNo., and it allowed you to change your items. We can find out what causes MissingNo., but where it fit in with the game, we will probably never know.

There are many doors and locations in Silent Hill 4: The Room. Some of which have sparked curiosity from fans to this day. Silent Hill likes to give you some secrets to find yourself, but this door and other locations seem to leave more to discover. The series has always enjoyed leaving some questions unresolved, and this game provides plenty of material for people who like digging into obscure details.
7. The Mystery of Lavender Town's Original Music
There has been an urban legend for many years about the Lavender Town song in Pokémon. There have been many claims that children have gotten sick from playing Pokémon because of this song. We can't find any facts that prove this urban legend to be true, but it's an interesting theory about such a weird song.

Supposedly, an arcade game was found in Portland, Oregon, in the 1980s that could affect your brain. Many urban legends have come out of this story and claim that there were government officials around playing Polybius at the time. No real evidence has been found to prove any of this, so Polybius will stay as one of gaming's mysteries.
