The top earners make up to half a million dollars a month doing what they love and letting their infectious personalities shine. Here are the top earners streaming on Twitch and how much they make.
1. Ninja
If you're into video games and you've visited the Twitch platform, chances are you're familiar with professional gamer Ninja. He is by far the most famous and rich Twitch streamer, making an average of $500,000 a month based on leaked data from 2021.
2. AuronPlay
Operating the second-most followed Twitch channel in the world is Spanish gamer and YouTube star Auronplay. His funny commentary and gaming skills earns him $200,000 a month.
3. ibai
Ibai recently made headlines when he broke the Twitch viewer record, attracting over 3 million streamers tuning into a single event. His charisma and versatility earns him an estimated $260,000 a month.
4. Rubius
Another top-earner from Spain goes by the name Rubius. He streams a lot of different video game content but it's his engaging personality that earns him over $180K a month on Twitch.
5. xQc
XQc is a Canadian Twitch streamer and former professional Overwatch player. He's known for winning gaming championships as well as his winning personality. He earns an average of around $320K a month from Twitch.
6. NickMercs
American streamer NickMercs has reportedly earned over $190,000 in Fortnite prizes and is rumored to have earned $6 million from Twitch in 2019 alone. He has a super entertaining personality and is extremely generous with his 38,000 subscribers.
7. TFue
The most popular American Twitch streamer, TFue also got his start from professional gaming, best known for Fortnite. He's the badboy of streamers because of his controversial personality which has gotten him banned from multiple platforms; however, it doesn't seem to greatly effect his earnings of over $100K per month.
8. The Grefg
The Grefg is a Spanish streamer who started out streaming Fortnite but has since transitioned more to sports games. His collaborative content and charming personality earns him $213,000 a month on Twitch.
9. Shroud
Canadian streamer and professional gamer Shroud earns an estimated $200K a month on Twitch. He's known for his incredible gaming talent on CS:GO, PUBG, and Valorant.
10. juansguarnizo
Juansguarnizo is an uber popular streamer from Colombia. He focuses mainly on GTA V but is also known for his Spanish commentary. His estimated monthly earnings are currently around $41,000 but that's likely to climb as he becomes more established.
11. Pokimane
The top female earner on Twitch is a Canadian-Moroccan streamer known for her League of Legends and Fortnite content. She is known for her standout personality which has earned her over 9 million followers and $18K a month.
12. Summit1g
American pro gamer Summit1g earns an average of $276,000 per month on Twitch. He's mostly known for his impressive skills as one of the top eSports players on games like CS:GO, PUBG, and H1Z1.
13. Gaules
Brazillian content creator and gamer Gaules is the only Portuguese-speaking streamer to break through into the top Twitch earners. His content which is mostly focused on Counter Strike coupled with his super friendly personality earns him an impressive $410,000 a month.
14. PewDiePie
PewDiePie is a Swedish streamer known for his Always On and Minecraft content. He is perhaps better-known for his YouTube channel which has over 100 million followers than Twitch on which he has 1.5 million followers. It's estimated he earns around $500K a month from streaming though it's unclear how much of that comes from Twitch.
15. CriticalRole
Critical Role is a creator-owned show streamed on Twitch where voice actors play Dungeons and Dragons. The highly entertaining production has earned the creators almost $10 million on Twitch since 2018.
16. Ludwig
Ludwig is famous for his work as eSports commentator for Super Smash Bros. tournaments. He was the most-subscribed Twitch streamer in 2021 thanks to a widely publicized event he hosted and has earned over $3 million as a Twitch streamer.
17. TimtheTatman
TimtheTatman started his career on Twitch way back in 2012 and has since gained over 7 million followers on the platform. His mainly Fortnite content has earned him upwards of $3 million.
18. Lirik
Lirik is an American streamer sponsored by Discord. He mainly plays DayZ on his channel with his live streams averaging around 40,000 viewers and earning him a total of around $3 million.
19. HasanAbi
HasanAbi is a Turkish-American Twitch streamer who uses his platform for left-wing political commentary as well as video game streaming. His channel has around 2.5 million followers and has earned him around $3 million.
20. AsmonGold
AsmonGold is an American Twitch streamer based in Austin, Texas whose main focus is World of Warcraft. He's made upwards of $2.5 million in his streaming career and also co-owns a number of content creation companies.
